2/12/2010 Last opened its doors in Ferrol "Gavia Grill Restaurant", a site that I keep great memories and great moments that pass. When I was reading this news in the press I was very happy and of course, tried to tell me more about this new openness. Last Friday, we went to dinner with some friends and we selected this site to prove it.
Those who met the "Gavia" before this opening, and before the "Restaurant of Hotel Barceló Almirante" which also had the opportunity to test and which could not speak very well, we surprising reversal of decoration, from having a BBQ Castilian decor typical to have a modern and minimalist decor, highlighting black and white decor, which is not bad. Still maintaining the reserved (12-14 pax) which is important if you want to make a more private celebration in fact this is where we put on the dinner, and continues to maintain its unique wood oven.
On health, I must say it was formidable, since we arrived until we left, people from the waiters treated us to the head waiter, did so with the professionalism that this site requires .
Turning to food, if I have to give a rating for my "very well", makes a traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Has a letter which, although not large, it has very appetizing dishes. This time we went to dinner 8 people started asking to drink wine from Rioja Luis Canas (3 bottles were eventually) and water, and eat:
Starters:

- 2 of "Scrambled eggs with sausage with onion, potato and crispy yuca
dishes were requested:
- 1 Cod with turnip greens, black olives and

- 1 cheek of beef with truffled potato puree and juice
- 1 shrimp flambé with diced tomato, garlic and parsley
- 4 Tenderloins Arzúa sauce - Ulloa and potato pont - neuf
For dessert:
- 2 Coulant

cafes were ordered to end, shots and drinks. I must say that desktop has a very curious letter where a large variety of desserts, coffee, tea, shots, cups, etc ... in fact we had some Irish coffee and Viennese very well prepared.
Personally I must say that we happy, the food was very good and well presented, attention formidable and very welcoming place. Regarding the price is not expensive, we went to 32 € per person, a very affordable price. It is a site that would recommend it to anyone, in fact I have already done so, and we hope soon they discuss their experience.
