First, it seems that Tarantino has been working on polishing a script which had already cleared ready made two months. As discussed, this variation of western wanted to do, dubbed "southern" is not what we see in Django Unchained , but a pure and simple spaghetti western, but with a personal touch.

The project is moving at full speed, and it seems that Stacey Sher, producer of Pulp Fiction has had several meetings with Tarantino in recent days. The Weinstein Company be responsible for distributing the film in the United States, while Universal would do the same with the market international, as it did with Inglourious Basterds. Nevertheless, Warner Bros. , Paramount and Sony Pictures is also behind the project.

After filtration of the cover of the script, is paying special attention to it does not leak in full, and more when you start the casting. In fact, the intention is to start looking for actors and actresses as soon as possible as the idea is to start shooting this year . Depending on how the casting goes, this could be in summer, or at the latest, fall. It was not immediately possible locations.

Update (with SPOILERS ): seems that it will not be a "southern" be seen, as other sources speak of a synopsis in which Django be a black slave released by a German bounty hunter ("Waltz ?), to be under his tutelage. Once formed, will help to load a few bad guys to reach their ultimate goal: to free his wife from a slave plantation.

Update 2: Christopher Waltz has been confirmed by the agency that represents QT. As imagined, will make German bounty hunters in what appears to be definitely a film about the era of black slavery ... spaghetti western style.
